Women’s Swimming Ranked No. 15 in CSCAA National Rankings

SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's swimming team finished the calendar year at No. 15 in the College Swimming Coaches Association national rankings, released on Friday afternoon by the organization.

The Garnet remain unbeaten on the season, holding a 6-0 record with a 4-0 conference mark. This month, the women won its 44th-straight head-to-head matchup with a 113-73 victory over Rowan University. 


Swarthmore has established itself as one of the best teams in the nation behind the efforts of two of the top swimmers in the country. Genine Collins currently ranks second in the nation in the 50 freestyle and 12th in the 100 free. Quinn Weygandt holds claim to the third fastest time in the 400 IM, while sitting 17th in the 200 butterfly. 

The Garnet will return from break with a major Centennial Conference showdown against No. 19 Johns Hopkins University on January 16.
