GREENWOOD, Ind. – A pair of Swarthmore College men's soccer players were chosen to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team on Tuesday.

To be eligible for Academic All-District accolades, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, appear in 90 percent of their team's contests or start in at least 66 percent, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better. Haynes started all 17 contests on the back line and led a Garnet defense that ranked sixth in the Centennial Conference in goals against average and registered five shutouts. He also tallied two goals at the offensive end. Haynes was an All-Centennial Second Team recipient.

Yamabe was an All-Centennial Second Team honoree after recording two goals, three assists, and seven points in 14 games. He scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory versus the University of Redlands. The junior was the top offensive threat for Swarthmore, leading the team with 39 shots on the year.
