LANCASTER, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men's soccer team had a pair of players named to the All-Centennial Team, the conference office announced on Wednesday.
Len Yamabe and
Jackson Haynes were both selected to the All-Centennial Second Team. It is the third career honor for Haynes and the second for Yamabe. In addition,
Henry Lin was the Garnet's representative on the Centennial All-Sportsmanship Team.
Yamabe recorded two goals, three assists, and seven points in 14 games. He scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory versus the University of Redlands. The junior was the top offensive threat for Swarthmore, leading the team with 39 shots on the year. His average of 2.79 shots per game ranked third in the conference. Yamabe was previously a first team selection in 2024.
Haynes started all 17 contests on the back line and led a Garnet defense that ranked sixth in the Centennial in goals against average and registered five shutouts. He also tallied two goals at the offensive end. Haynes was an All-Centennial Second Team recipient in 2023 and received honorable mention in 2024.
Swarthmore finished the season with a 5-6-6 record.
