Landry Selected to NFHCA Collegiate Senior Team

COLORADO SPRINGS – Swarthmore College's Amelia Landry was one of 60 Division III student-athletes named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association's Collegiate Senior Team on Thursday.

The honor celebrates a player's competitive excellence, leadership, and lasting influence within their program. Selections are based on nominations submitted by NFHCA member coaches and reviewed by committees composed entirely of NFHCA coach members.

Landry posted two defensive saves and was second on the Garnet with six goals. Her six goals and 12 points were career highs. The senior started all 19 games and tallied two game-winning goals. Landry helped Swarthmore rank 23rd in Division III in shutouts per game and 50th in goals against average. She was an All-Centennial First Team selection for the second year in a row.

Landry helped the Garnet compile a 10-9 record, 7-3 in conference, and qualify for the Centennial Conference Tournament. The team finished 31st in the NCAA Power Index.
