LANCASTER, Pa. – Swarthmore College's
Genine Collins was selected the Centennial Conference Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week on Tuesday by the conference office.
Collins led the way for the 13
th-ranked Garnet in a 164-98 win against Salisbury University, posting two individual wins and setting a Ware Pool record in the 50 freestyle. She grabbed her first win of the day in the 50 freestyle, posting a NCAA B-cut time of 23.25. The effort also set a new pool record, breaking her own mark of 23.30 set in 2024. Collins earned her second triumph of the meet in the 100 butterfly, touching in 57.33. That time ranks 25
th in Division III this season. The junior also swam on Swarthmore's winning 200 medley (1:46.80) and 200 freestyle (1:36.59) relays.
The Garnet head to the Franklin and Marshall Invitational this weekend.
