WAYNESBORO, PA - The Swarthmore College golf team wrapped up its fall schedule with a seventh-place finish and a pair of top-10 individuals at the Mason-Dixon Collegiate on Sunday.
Dylan Zhang and
Frank Zhou both finished one-over for the tournament to tie for eighth overall. Zhou carded the team's best round of the afternoon, shooting two-under-par to climb 13 positions on the leaderboard.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Zhou shot a 70 (-2) to finish one-over for the tournament. The rookie sunk a trio of birdies on the front nine, while adding one more on the back half. Zhou shot three-over in the opening round with a pair of birdies, totaling six for the tournament.
- Zhang had another strong performance at Waynesboro after breaking even for the opening round. The senior shot a 73 (+1) with three birdies to secure a top-10 finish. Zhang ended the weekend at one-over for the tournament to tie for eighth.

Phelps Wang dropped to 24th overall after opening the tournament at one-under-par. The junior shot a 78 (+6) with three birdies for the round and eight for the tournament. He finished at five-over-par.

Michael Yuen and
Phillip Kim tied for 55th and 59th, respectively. Yuen carded a 79 (+7) in both rounds to finish 14-over, while Kim shot an 80 (+80) to end the tournament at 15-over.
Alex Lyu rounded out the team's competitors in 71st place with an 81 (+9) in both rounds.
