Hallmark Sets Program Record to Highlight NCAA Finale

GREENSBORO, NC - The Swarthmore College women's swim team wrapped up an extremely successful weekend at the NCAA Championships on Saturday.

Kate Hallmark highlighted the day with a program record of 17:17.83 in the 1650 freestyle. The first-year placed 10th overall as she narrowly missed out on All-American status. The first-year impressed in her championship debut as she took home All-American honorable mention status in the 500 freestyle.

Elle Anthony placed 44th in the 100 freestyle prelims with a time of 52.47, while Sophie Rotival wrapped up individual competition with a 38th place effort in the 200 breaststroke at 2:24.62. 

Anthony and Rotival teamed with Erin Szuromi and Ainsley Jane Tambling to finish 23rd with a time of 3:30.50 in the event.
