Women's Track Competes at Widener Invitational Opener

CHESTER, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's track & field team competed at day one of the Widener Invitational on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Maddie Farber placed 23rd overall out of 45 runners with a time of 19:52.38 in the 5000m run. Charisma Hasan also competed in the event with a 21:39.73 mark.

- Jordyn Bernard finished 25th overall in the shot put with a top throw of 9.52m. 

UP NEXT
The Garnet return to Widener tomorrow for the second day of the invitational.
