LANCASTER, Pa. - After two days of competition at the Centennial Conference Championships, Swarthmore College Women's Swimming leads the way as they stretched their lead on Friday at Franklin & Marshall College.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- The 400-medley relay comprised of Erin Szuromi, Annabella Boardman, Ashley Wong and Sophie Rotival won the event in school record fashion. The group touched the wall in 3:51.61, which also was an NCAA 'B' cut. In the second final, the relay of Kaja Arusha, Gaby Ma, Annaliese Chen and Anna Lyn also swam a time under the school record of 3:52.58.
- Rotival, Chen, Georgi Mathews and Lyn each earned individual medals. Rotival won a silver medal in the 200-IM with a mark of 2:07.93, which ranks her second all-time. Chen finished the 200-IM in 2:09.04, which ranks her fourth on the all-time list.
- In the 500-free, Mathews finished the event in 5:07.71 for a second place finish. The first-year ranks fourth in program history in the event. Lyn earned the bronze in the event with a time of 5:08.92. Lauren Rohde finished the event with the eighth best time in program history with a time of 5:09.84.
- In the lead off spot of the 400-medley relay, Szuromi set a record in the 100-back with a time of 57.17.

The Garnet return to the pool at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday for the fourth session of the Centennial Conference Championships at Franklin & Marshall.
