LANCASTER, Pa. - Starting off his Swarthmore career strong, first year
Cami Wilson was named the Centennial Conference Athlete of the Week for men's swimming, as announced Tuesday, Nov. 1st.
Competing in just the second meet as a member of the Garnet, Wilson proved pivotal in Swarthmore's 193-67 win over Washington College. The Michigan native finished first in two individual events, putting up a time of 21.29 in the 50-yard freestyle, and a time of 50.34 in the 100-yard butterfly. Additionally, Wilson swam anchor for a 200-yard freestyle relay team that picked up another win for the Garnet, beating out second place by over a second.
Wilson and the Garnet will return to the pool for the DIII Shootout hosted by the University of Chicago from Friday, Nov. 4th - Saturday, Nov. 5th.
