STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Three Swarthmore College Women's Track and Field student-athletes set personal records while competing at the Villanova Invitational on Saturday.

Rose Teszler, and
Adria Retter were the only Division III competitors in their respective events. The Villanova Invitational included student-athletes from Division I Cornell University, Delaware State University, Lafayette University, Lehigh University, Long Island University, Monmouth University, the University of Pennsylvania, St. John's University, and host Villanova.
Blodgett's PR was earned in the mile, where the senior placed 11th out of 24 finishers with a time of 5:07.22. Teszler's personal best came in the 800 meter run. The junior crossed the finish line fourth overall at 2:16.11.
In the field events, Retter set a PR in the weight throw with a best attempt of 14.25 meters (46'-9"), placing 12th out of 26 throwers. The junior also competed in the shot put, finishing 11th with a best throw of 11.92 meters (39'-1.25").
Next up for the Garnet is the McElligott Invitational, hosted by Haverford College, on Saturday, January 29.
