CHESTER, Pa. –The Swarthmore College women's track and field team spent their Friday night competing at the nearby Widener Field Meet on Jan. 27.

Freshman Claire Conley finished third in the shot put with a distance of 10.77m while classmate Rachel Vresilovic won her flight by placing fifth overall (9.58m).

In the indoor pentathlon, Naomi Bronkema placed third with 2052 points. Bronkema finished first in the high jump (1.47m) and long jump (4.67m) with a second-place result in the shot put as well.

Swarthmore next competes at the Villanova Invitational and the Frank Colden Invite, both taking place on Saturday, Feb. 4.
