Box Score 2 SWARTHMORE, Pa. - A great finish to the Swarthmore College softball team (11-22, 3-13 CC) as the Garnet swept Centennial Conference opponent Ursinus College (10-24, 2-14) by 3-0 and 4-1 scores on Saturday, April 26. The doubleheader was the last collegiate game for four graduating seniors -

Sarina Lowe and
Nicole Aaron and with the sweep, Head Coach
Renee Clarke collects her 200th victory at Swarthmore.
In the opener, O'Connor pitched to a three-hit complete game with a season-high 12 strikeouts. Her season performance was backed by freshman
Sara Planthaber's three RBI day and junior
Chelsea Matzko went 2-for-3 at the plate with one run.
With two on base on Ursinus miscues, Lowe stepped up to the plate for a RBI single up the middle to bring home Planthaber in the bottom of the second for the first Garnet score. After a 1-2-3 top of the inning, Swarthmore bats went back to work as Matzko and sophomore
Clara Obstfeld both singled before Planthaber brought both home on a double to right center. Ursinus threatened in the sixth inning with two singles, but O'Connor forced a flyout to end the inning.
The Garnet racked up 11 hits in the nightcap - including two from Matzko and Lowe. Freshman
Anna Jensen went 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Aaron had two hits and plated twice. Jensen also collected a solo home run in the victory.
