FULL RESULTSSPRINGFIELD, Pa. – The Swarthmore College golf team won its final quad match of the season with a score of 309 on Monday, Apr. 21 at the Rolling Green Golf Club.
The team was led by senior
Sam White and freshman
Michael Chen, as both players shot a 75 and tied for second behind winner Kevin Sarlo Rutgers-Camden. The Garnet also counted scores of 79 from junior
Andrew Park and 80 from senior
Jeff Wall. Senior captain
Price Ferchill also competed on the "A" team and shot an 85 on the par-71, 6,695-yard course.
Swarthmore also entered a "B" team, which shot a 349 and placed eighth out of nine teams. The group was led by sophomore
Jason Jolliffe, who fired an 83.
The Garnet will compete as the host school at the Centennial Conference Championships from Apr. 25-27 at the DuPont Country Club in Wilmington, Del.
