COMPLETE RESULTS

LANCASTER, Pa. – Juniors Supriya Davis and Katherine Wiseman each won an individual event to lead the Swarthmore College women's swimming team to a fifth-place finish at the Centennial Conference Championships at Franklin & Marshall's Kunkel Aquatic Center on Sunday, Feb. 23. The Garnet finished the meet with 446.5 points.

Davis won the 200-yard butterfly in an NCAA 'B' Cut time of 2:07.70. With the victory, the junior ended the meet having swept both fly events for the third straight season. Davis won the 100 fly yesterday with an NCAA 'B' cut mark.

Wiseman was victorious in the 100 free for the third consecutive season and set championship meet and school records for the second straight year by hitting the wall in 52.58 seconds. Her previous best of 52.59 was notched in 2013.

Other notable performances were made by senior Maggie Regan and freshman Erica Flor. Regan was second in the 200 breast in 2:27.07, while Flor set a school record in the 200 back with a third-place time of 2:09.20. The previous record of 2:09.32 was established by Kristen Robinson 17 years ago. All in all, Flor factored into a team-best four school records over the weekend.

In a meet that came down to the final event, Ursinus edged out Gettysburg for the team crown with 671.5 points. The Bullets finished the meet in second with 664 points. Franklin & Marshall, Dickinson, Swarthmore, McDaniel, Washington College and Bryn Mawr rounded out the team standings.

Swarthmore will now wait to see if it will send any competitors to the NCAA Championships, which will take place in Indianapolis, Ind. from March 19-22. Davis is eligible in the 100 and 200 fly after recording NCAA 'B' Cut times in each event at Centennials over the weekend.
