LANCASTER, Pa. – Junior Supriya Davis factored into a pair of runner-up finishes and a school record to help lead the Swarthmore College women's swimming team to a sixth-place standing after the first day of the Centennial Conference Championships at Franklin & Marshall's Kunkel Aquatic Center on Friday, Feb. 21. The Garnet accumulated 129.5 points through five events.

Davis, the two-time reigning Centennial Conference Performer of the Year, began the day by registering a second-place mark of 2:10.58 in the 200-yard individual medley. She ended the evening by teaming up with freshman Erica Flor, sophomore Nikkia Miller and junior Katherine Wiseman on the 400 medley relay squad that hit the wall second in 3:56.22 and broke the school record by more than two seconds. The previous mark of 3:58.93, which was also previously a championship meet record, was recorded by senior Rebecca Teng, classmate Maggie Regan, Davis and Wiseman in 2012.

Other notable performances in individual events were made by Wiseman and Teng. Wiseman tied for fifth in the 50 free in 24.52 seconds, while Teng was ninth in the 200 IM in 2:12.17.
