Box Score BRYN MAWR, Pa. - The Swarthmore College volleyball team picked up a Centennial Conference victory at Bryn Mawr on Tuesday evening to remain undefeated in conference play. The match served as a conference "Dig for a Cure" game - pledges and donations were raised for each statistical dig in the match and will be donated to The Tanner's Touch Foundation; the teams combined for 95 digs.

Kate Amodei anchored Swarthmore's (22-5, 9-0 CC) defense with a 17 and 10 digs, respectively. Freshman outside hitter
Sarah Wallace hit on a .333 clip with 17 kills and recorded nine digs in the effort, while matching a season-high four service aces. Senior middle blocker
Chastity Hopkins swung nine kills in the three-setter and freshman
Alice Liu came down with two blocks. Junior setter
Sam DuBois finished with 21 assists and nine digs.
Bryn Mawr (10-15, 1-9 CC) opened the match hot as Rachel Ofili had three kills to put the Owls ahead 5-3. The home team made it 7-4 before the Garnet went on an eight-point run led by Wallace and Hopkins with two kills each, while DuBois and Liu camed down with a block. Swarthmore would surrender just six more points in the set to win 25-13.
The Garnet took a 4-1 lead in the second set before the Owls surged to a 6-4 lead on a five-point run led once again by Ofili. Swarthmore responded with straight kills from Wallace, Liu and freshman
Malia Scott. Liu then swung three of the next four Garnet points to put the visitors ahead 12-7. Down 14-9, Bryn Mawr rattled the Garnet defense with a six-point run to eventually go ahead 20-15. A Swarthmore timeout sparked a comeback on Amodei's five-point service. Freshmen Wallace,

Malia Scott came down with a triple block for Swarthmore's 19th point, before the Owls called timeout. A back row kill from Amodei and points from Wallace led the attack to the finish and set victory of 25-23.
Swarthmore led the entire third set, crusing to a 25-15 score, to complete the sweep and conference victory.
Ofili led the Owls with 13 kills and five blocks, while the defense hinged on Danielle Preziuso and Allie Nagelski with 24 combined digs.
Swarthmore returns to Tarble Pavilion on Saturday, November 1st for the regular season finale against Haverford College. A match with postseason implications on the line.
