BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men's track and field team competed in both days of The Coach P Open hosted by Moravian College on Friday and Saturday. The meet featured 29 teams and over 2,000 entries.
Juniors Dan Kalamarides (32:14.03) and Robert Fain (32:24.51) finished third and fourth, respectively, in the 10,000-meter run on Friday, collecting both top-10 program performances and ECAC qualifying times.
Sophomore Jonas Oppenheimer took first place in the 1,500-meter run at 4:02.10, while senior Aidan DuMont-McCaffrey (4:07.16) and freshman Dominic Castro-Wehr (4:19.41) picked up top-20 finishes.
Freshman Dan Creem took second overall, running a personal-best 15:29.57 finish in the 5,000-meter run.
Swarthmore returns to action on Wednesday, April 17 at Gwynedd-Mercy.
