Neither side was able to generate much momentum during a chippy first half, but Haverford's Bohrmann changed everything with just 80 seconds remaining in the first half. A header wide of the goal from Joe Keedy in the 89th off a nice set piece would prove to be Swarthmore's last chance, as Haverford ran out the clock in the final two minutes to claim the title.
