No. 15 Women’s Swimming Earns Massive Head-to-Head Victory at No. 19 Johns Hopkins

BALTIMORE - The No. 15 Swarthmore College women's swimming team edged out No. 19 Johns Hopkins University, 134-128, in a Centennial heavyweight showdown on Friday afternoon. The Garnet took down the Blue Jays for the second-straight season, while capturing their 46th-straight head-to-head win and 43rd-consecutive victory over a conference opponent.

Genine Collins and Quinn Weygandt both captured a pair of pool records, while combining for four individual victories. The duo solidified their standing among the top swimmers in the conference and the nation.

Relay success played a huge factor in a tight dual meet victory. The Garnet captured first place in both relays, while winning both races by just a few tenths of a second. Collins and Elle Anthony, who also had a remarkable day with a victory in the 100 breaststroke, were members of both relay wins.
