GILBERT, Ariz. – The Swarthmore College women's tennis team earned All-Academic status and had 12 individuals recognized for their work in the classroom by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Wednesday.
 
Katherine Zawada, Erin Li, Nathalie Williams, Alice Coxe, Kathleen Shiffer, Veronica Komorek, Lara Geib, Riya Rao, Ruthie Njagi, Marisa Geib, Lisa Messier, and Madeline Posner were all named ITA Scholar-Athletes for posting a GPA of at least 3.50 for the 2024-25 academic year. It is the fourth career award for Lara Geib and Marisa Geib while Njagi, Williams, Shiffer, Rao, and Messier garnered the honor for the third time.
 
The Garnet were chosen as an ITA All-Academic Team for compiling a team GPA of at least 3.20. It is the fourth straight year in which Swarthmore has received the distinction.
