LANCASTER, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men's outdoor track & field team earned one spot on the All-Centennial Team, the conference office announced on Friday.
Theo Teszler was the Garnet's lone representative with second-team status in the 400m dash.
Jay van Adrichem Boogaert was also celebrated with a selection to the Centennial All-Sportsmanship Team.
Teszler broke the program's outdoor record in the 400m dash in consecutive weeks, culminating with a runner-up finish of 48.31 at the Centennial Championships. The rookie was beat out at the line by three hundredths of a second, while finishing 0.09 seconds ahead of the bronze medalist. Teszler earned the top seed in the event after clocking the fastest time in the prelims.
Swarthmore compiled 50 points on the weekend to place eighth overall.
