CHESTER, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men's track & field team completed competition at Widener University's Paul Donahue Invitational with several personal records on Saturday.

Atticus Hempel,
Kenneth Relovsky,
Colin DeLaney, and
Joey Alander all posted new career bests at the meet.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Teszler finished eighth in the 400 with a time of 48.68. It was his first sub-49:00 time, and took down a longstanding program record from 1988. Antonio Gayles held the previous record for 37-years with a time of 49.04.
- Hempel took third place in the 1500 meters (3:54.86). He bested his previous personal record by over 10 seconds.
- Alander placed fourth in the 3000 meter steeplechase, clocking in at 9:37.37. He took more than 20 seconds off his previous top time.
- Relovsky crossed the line eighth in the 1500 with a time of 3:55.89. DeLaney eclipsed his previous best in the 1500 by more than five seconds, coming in at 3:59.58 for 15
th place.
