DeLaney Leads Men on Final Day of Danny Curran

CHESTER, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's track & field team wrapped up the Danny Curran Invitational with several strong performances.

Colin DeLaney led the way with a runner-up finish in the steeplechase. The senior made his season debut in his marquee event, earning Swarthmore's top finish of the meet.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Delaney earned runner-up in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:31.47. Joey Alander finished seventh, setting a personal record of 9:57.87 and shaving 25 seconds off his previous best.

- Theo Teszler placed 11th overall out of 107 challengers in the 400m run. The first-year standout clocked a time of 49.25 in his outdoor debut. He also completed the 200m dash with a time of 22.87, finishing 52nd out of 158 competitors.

- Kenneth Relovsky paced a group of four Swarthmore competitors, finishing 21st in the 800m run with a time of 1:56.38. Charlie Schuetz also had a strong performance, clocking in at 2:00.13.

- Rishi Tella finished 22nd overall in the long jump with a top mark of 6.30m.

The Garnet return to action at the Ursinus Festival on Friday.
