LANCASTER, Pa. – Swarthmore College's
Michael Yuen was chosen the Centennial Conference Men's Golf Athlete of the Week for the second time this season on Tuesday.
Yuen earned CC weekly honors for the second time this fall after leading the Garnet with a two-day score of three-over 145 to tie for second place individually at the RPI Collegiate Invitational. Yuen finished just one stroke behind the champion and helped Swarthmore capture the team title in a field of 15 teams. He carded a two-over 73 in the opening round, recording an eagle and a birdie. Yuen improved his score in the final round, posting a one-over 72 with five birdies. As a team, Swarthmore bested second-place NYU by five strokes.
The Garnet are back in action this weekend at the Mason-Dixon Collegiate.
