SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College golf program is thrilled to announce that it will be hosting an online auction via the platform "Member for a Day" to raise funds for its first-ever international trip. The auction will take place between November 5-11. 

"Member for a Day" is an online golf platform that partners with private clubs to auction or sell exclusive tee times, letting golfers experience world-class courses that are normally reserved for members-only. By purchasing a round of golf or donating to the campaign, supporters will not only enjoy a top-tier golfing experience, but also make a significant contribution to the Swarthmore Men's Golf Program. 

The auction features rounds at some of the most prestigious clubs in the world including: The Olympic Club (San Francisco, CA), Colonial Country Club (Fort Myers, FL), Richmond County Country Club (Staten Island, NY), Talisker Club (Park City, UT), Aronimink Golf Club (Newtown Square, PA),  The Club at Pelican Preserve (Fort Myers, FL), White Manor Country Club (Malvern, PA), Weston Golf Club (Weston, MA) and Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club (Hong Kong). 


The golf program will be traveling to the United Kingdom on August 22-29, 2026. The team will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play five rounds of world class golf at Royal Troon Golf Club, Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club, Royal Liverpool Golf Club, Prestwick Golf Club and Western Gailes Golf Club.
