MEDFORD, Mass. – Aiden Tomov of the Swarthmore College men's track & field team competed in the 800 meters at the Tufts National Qualifying Meet on Saturday afternoon.
 
Tomov entered the meet with one more opportunity to chase down the school record in the event, as his season-best time of 1:55.30 was less than a second off the program standard of 1:55.05.
 
However, Tomov finished with a time of 1:56.25 and came in ninth place. The senior does wrap up his indoor career as a co-record holder in the distance medley relay.
