MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The Swarthmore College men's track & field team competed at the second day of the Shamrock Invitational on Friday.

Sam Brody led the way with a significant personal record to claim first overall in the 800m run. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Brody won the 800m run with a personal record of 2:02.76. The senior shattered his previous-best mark by nearly eight seconds. Brody beat his closest challenger by three seconds.

- Jay van Adrichem Boogaert and Isaac Chu both competed in the 400m run with times of 55.91 and 55.97, respectively. 

- Theo McGreevey ran a 5:07.23 mile to place 25th overall.
