Men’s Track & Field Distance Runners Record Personal Bests at Ocean Breeze

STATEN ISLAND, NY - The Swarthmore College men's track & field team's top distance runners impressed as each competitor earned a personal record at the FastTrack National Invitational on Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Aiden Tomov finished eighth overall in a highly-competitive 800m run with an indoor personal record of 1:55.30. The senior placed first overall among division-III competitors as he took down several division-I challengers. 

- Sam Brody placed 18th overall in the 5000m run with a time of 15:14.54 to set an indoor personal best by 14 seconds. Cohen Manges also recorded a personal best in the event with a 15:29.73 finish to claim 24th overall. 

- Colin DeLaney led a trio of Swarthmore competitors in the 3000m run. The junior earned a personal best with a time of 8:41.28 to place 25th overall. Isaac Chu (8:44.36) and Robert Mirabello (9:03.79) also posted personal records in the event. 

- Kenneth Relovsky raced to a personal best with a time of 4:23.06 in the mile. The first-year placed 36th overall in the event. 

UP NEXT
The Garnet travel to Haverford College for the second time this winter for the Keough Invitational next Saturday.
