SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Sophomore
Rishi Tella won the long jump at Haverford College's Seamus McElligott Invitational to lead the Swarthmore College men's track and field team in action this weekend.
Tella recorded a winning distance of 21' 8" (6.60m) on his final attempt to earn his first victory of the season.
Elsewhere,
Eoin Quinn represented the squad at Bucknell University's Bison Open and Multi, taking ninth in the high jump (5' 10.75", 1.80m) and 14
th in the triple jump (41' 8.75", 12.72m).
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tella coupled his best long jump of the campaign with an eighth-place in the 60 meters, clocking in at 7.40 seconds. It is his highest finish in the 60 so far this year.

Sam Brody was the runner-up in the 5000 meters with a time of 15:28.04.
Cohen Manges crossed the line five seconds after Brody in fourth place (15:33.06). Manges's time was his best of the season.

Aiden Tomov took fourth in the 800 meters with a season-best time of 1:58.74. In the mile,
Kenneth Relovsky came in fifth place with a new career best of 4:27.70.
Colin DeLaney also had a fifth-place finish, completing the 3000 meters in a season-best 8:51.50.

Gabriel Hines finished sixth in the 60 meters in a career-best 7.22 seconds. The Garnet also came in sixth in the 4x400 meter relay (3:47.69) through the efforts of Relovsky, Tomov,
Jay van Adrichem Boogaert, and
Ben Rosin.
