Women’s Swimming Remains Perfect in Dual Meets, Weygandt & Rotival Combine for Six Wins

SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's swimming team defended its perfect dual meet record as they cruised past Dickinson College, 222-38, on Saturday afternoon. The program captured its 30th consecutive conference victory and its 26th straight dual meet win - dating back to the 2018-19 season.

Quinn Weygandt and Sophie Rotival headlined a dominant performance with three individual victories, respectively. Weygandt continued to show off her elite stamina and versatility as she ran the gauntlet with wins in the 1000, 500 and 200 freestyles. Rotival was equally as incredible with wins in all four of her events, including the opening 200 medley relay.

Ashley Wong and Genine Collins also captured multiple wins for Swarthmore with a pair of victories, respectively. The Garnet had six different individual winners as they swept the top-three spots in all 14 events.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Garnet set the tone at the start of the meet with a top-four sweep in the 200 medley relay. The team of Kaja Arusha, Sophie Rotival, Ashley Wong and Genine Collins grabbed the top spot with a 1:48.53 effort.

Swarthmore also claimed the top-four positions with Ava Craig and Madeline Fox placing third and fourth, respectively.

- After taking first overall in a distance event, Weygandt earned her second top finish in the 200 freestyle just one event later. The sophomore phenom recorded a 1:57.75 effort as she was the only competitor to finish under two minutes. Mackenzie Tucker and Craig also placed inside the top-three to sweep the event.
