GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Swarthmore College Men's Swimming returned to the pool with a 148.5-113.5 victory over Gettysburg College on Sunday. The Garnet improve to 5-1 overall and 5-1 in Centennial Conference, while the Bullets drop to 6-4 and 5-2.

Jeremy Rockaway, and
Finn Conaway all tallied victories on Sunday. The Garnet won a pair of relays over the Bullets.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Karpenko won the 100-breast in a time of 58.40, and added a second place finish in the 200-breast with a time of 2:10.96. The first-year touched wall of the 200-IM in third place with a time of 1:58.27.
- The 200-breast event was won by Shew as he touched the wall in 2:09.55. The senior added a runner-up finish in the 100-back with a time of 52.48.
- Rockaway tallied a first place finish and a runner-up finish in the Centennial battle. In the 100-fly, he recorded a time of 51.41, which was just .41 seconds ahead of the runner-up finisher. In a battle in the 200-fly event, Rockway was the runner-up after finishing just .13 seconds behind the winner as the senior recorded a time of 1:55.33.
- In the 1,000-free, Conaway earned a first place finish with a time of 9:53.88. In the 500-free, the sophomore swam a season best 4:55.92.
- Shew, Karpenko, Rockaway, and
Ethan Marotte teamed up to win the 200-medley relay with a time of 1:33.91.
- The Garnet finished up the meet by taking the top three spots in the 400-free relay.

Ethan Bergmann, Marotte and
Cole Griscavage won the event in 3:09.91, while the group of Rockaway,
Tristan Haeger,
Mats McGrath and
Vijay Chhabra finished as runner-ups.
UP NEXT
Swarthmore returns to the pool for the final meet before the Centennial Conference Championships on Friday in the first day of the Swarthmore Invitational at Ware Pool. Session one is slated to begin at 6:00 p.m., while session two is set to start at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
