STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Three Swarthmore College Men's Track and Field student-athletes represented Division III at the Villanova Invitational on Saturday.

Racing alongside runners from Division I Cornell University, Lehigh University, Long Island University, Monmouth University, the University of Pennsylvania, and host Villanova University, Aidan Cantine, Aiden Tomov, and Ethan Rothenberg each competed in one event.

Cantine and Tomov both earned personal bests in the mile. Cantine finished first for the Garnet and ninth overall with a time of 4:16.07; Tomov followed at 4:19.16, good for 14th out of 22 finishers.

Rothenberg was the lone NCAA Division III competitor in the 800 meter run. The junior crossed the finish line 12th out of 15 runners with a time of 1.59.05.

Swarthmore will be back in action on Saturday, January 29, at the McElligott Invitational, hosted by Haverford College.
