LANCASTER, Pa. – Swarthmore College Men's Track and Field won the 4x800 relay on the second day of the Centennial Conference Championships at Franklin and Marshall College on Sunday.
The team of
Kevin Hudson,
Chris Brandt,
Aidan Cantine and
Aiden Tomov crossed the finish line in 8:03.14.
Christopher Folk notched a fourth place finish in the high jump event. The first-year recorded a best height of 1.88m (6'-2").
Vaughn Parts crossed the finish line in the mile with a time of 4:38.90.
In the long jump event,
Adil Belgaumi earned a best mark of 5.89m (19'-4"), while
Justin Snyder added a leap of 5.72m (18'-9.25").
Belgaumi added a fifth-place finish in the 200-meter run. The senior crossed the finish line with mark of 23.28.
Bastiaan Phair notched a fifth place finish in the heptathlon. The first-year won the shot put with a throw of 10.63m, second in the high jump with a height of 1.72m and second in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:49.69.
Grayson Mick and
Evan Baker competed in the 800-meter run and recorded times of 2:03.46 and 2:03.63, respectively.
Johns Hopkins University won the team event with a score of 212.5, while Ursinus College (139), Dickinson College (97), Muhlenberg College (76), and Haverford College (73.5) rounded out the top five. The Garnet ended the championship meet in seventh place with 48 points.
