SWARTHMORE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Basketball remained the nation's number one team for the sixth week in a row in the D3hoops.com poll. This time, the Garnet were the unanimous pick for the top slot, receiving all 25 first-place votes.
Swarthmore (11-0) is just one of five teams still unbeaten this year in Division III (and one of just nine teams out of all three divisions).
The Garnet are sixth in the country in blocked shots per game, swatting 6.0 shots per game. Swarthmore's rebounding margin of +9.3 is 18th in the nation. The Garnet rank 25th in Division III in scoring margin with a differential of +13.4. Swarthmore's strength of schedule has been the eighth toughest this year as opponents have assembled a win percentage of 0.636.
Zac O'Dell's 126 points, 104 rebounds, 28 blocks and 12 steals are all team highs this season. O'Dell is six points shy of reaching the 1,000-point mark for his career.
Swarthmore returns to action on Thursday at Muhlenberg at 8 p.m.
