COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Track & Field sat in fourth place after the first day of competition at the Centennial Conference Championship Saturday.
Juniors
Daniel Belkin and
Benjamin Hejna medaled in the triple jump for 14 of Swarthmore's points. Belkin leapt 13.51 meters for silver and Hejna went 12.67m for bronze.
In the pole vault, freshmen
Alex Flowers and Max Park cleared 3.95m for sixth and seventh places.
The Garnet took fourth in the 4x200 relay (1:35.44) and fifth in the DMR (10:42.44).
Felix Laniyan qualified for the finals in the 60m dash with a time of 7.16 seconds.
Swarthmore continues the championship on Sunday at noon.
