CARLISLE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Swimming completed the season sweep of all Centennial Conference opponents on Saturday by beating the Dickinson College Red Devils 121-83. The Garnet, 6-0 in Centennial dual meets, have won their first dual meet title since going perfect in 2007.
Swarthmore began the meet by winning five straight events and finished with first-place times in eight total events.
To start the meet, Jeffrey Tse, Alejandro Hernandez, Chris Smith and Henry Wilson combined to win the 400-yard medley relay (3:37.73).
Freshman Alec Menzer won the 1000 free with a time of 10:08.74.
In the 200 free, senior Ben Hsiung won by a fraction of a second (1:49.04).
Charles Yang (22.41), Carlo Sivilotti (22.65) and Arka Rao (22.99) swept the top-three places in the 50 free. Yang, after winning the 50 free won the 100 free as well with a time of 49.46.
Tse got his first individual win of the day in the 100 IM with a personal best time of 52.78. He would later win the 200 breast (2:10.44).
Menzer collected his second win of the day in the 500 free (4:53.43).
Swarthmore hosts the Swat Invite 2.0 next Saturday at 1 p.m.
