HAVERFORD, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Cross Country ran to a second-place finish in Friday afternoon's four-mile race at the Main Line Invite.
The Garnet finished behind host Haverford College and ahead of Widener University with a score of 61.
Sophomore
Vaughn Parts was the leading runner for the Garnet with a time of 21:22.1, 12th in the field of Division III runners and 10th among scorers.
Mayank Agrawal's run of 21:37.0 gave him a score of 11.
Freshman
Kevin Hudson scored 12 points with a time of 21:43.7.
Frank Kenny finished fourth for Swarthmore, running the race in 21:51.9.
Lucas Heinzerling tallied the Garnet's fifth-best time (21:59.2).
William Colgan (22:23.6) and
Andrew Prior (22:29.7) arrived in sixth and seventh for Swarthmore.
The Garnet return to action in two weeks at the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University.
