BALTIMORE—Sophomore Daniel Belkin leapt to a gold medal in the high jump on Saturday, earning Swarthmore 10 points by clearing the 1.85 meter mark without a foul.
Benjamin Henna added two points in the event with a seventh place finish (1.70m). Hejna and Belkin each earned points in the long jump with Hejna finishing fifth (6.32m) and Belkin seventh (6.29m).
The Garnet earned four points from Andrew Jansen in the discus with a fifth-place finish (42.45m).
In the 4x800 relay, the Garnet earned two points with a time of 8:27.97 clocked by Frank Kenny, Alex Robey, Corey Branch and Saadiq Garba.
At the end of day two, Swarthmore holds third place with 37 points. The Garnet wrap up the championship on Sunday.
