EWING, N.J.—Swarthmore College Men's Track and Field competed at both the Penn Relays and the TCNJ Lion Invite this week. At TCNJ, Noah Rosenberg set a new record in the javelin with a throw of 56.50m (185' 4") which was nearly eight feet longer than the previous record which was set in 1997. It's also the furthest throw in the Centennial Conference this season.
Daniel Belkin finished 12th in the triple jump (13.38) and that distance is the second longest in the Centennial this year behind teammate Benjamin Henja. Belkin also finished 13th in the high jump (1.8m).
Jerry Qin cleared 3.8m in the pole vault to finish 15th.
in the 1,500, John Gagnon finished sixth overall out of 101 contestants and was the top NCAA Division III runner with a time of 4:04.53.
At the Penn Relays, Swarthmore's Adil Belgaumi, Robbert Eppley, Zain Hannan and Noah Lifset ran the 4x100 in 44.84.
