DAY 1 RESULTS

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.–Sophomore Daniel Belkin earned gold in the triple jump at the Centennial Conference Indoor Championships on Saturday, Feb. 25 to pace the Swarthmore College track and field team. The Garnet sit in third with 19 points after one day of competition.

Belkin finished with a mark of 13.44m, which is the seventh-best mark in program history. Joining him on the podium was classmate Ben Hejna, who placed third with a distance of 13.02m. Chris Chan also scored points for the Garnet, earning for his sixth-place finish.

Swarthmore concludes competition at the championships, which are hosted by Ursinus College, on Sunday, Feb. 26.
