GETTYSBURG, Pa—Swarthmore College Men's Cross Country finished in fifth place in the Centennial Conference Championship on Sunday with 150 points.
The Garnet placed three runners in the top 30 and all seven runners were in the top 50 at the 8K course at Gettysburg College.
Senior
Mayank Agrawal led Swarthmore with a time of 26:53.1 and finished 24th overall. Sophomore
Vaughn Parts was just a half-second behind and finished 26th. Classmate
Frank Kenny clocked in at 27:00.7 to take 27th place. Freshman
Kevin Hudson finished in 32nd with a time of 27:19.8.
William Colgan, a junior, ran the race in 28:07.0 for Swarthmore's fifth score.
Evan Baker and
Ben Charo rounded out Swarthmore's sixth and seventh scores, taking 45th and 46th place with times of 28:28.9 and 28:33.4.
Haverford College won the championship with 21 points.
Swarthmore preps for the NCAA Regionals on Nov. 11.
