WESTMINSTER, Md.—Swarthmore College Women's Swimming kicked off the 2017-18 season with a 66-29 win at McDaniel College on Saturday.
The Garnet captured first in both the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay. Swarthmore also finished first in five of the individual races.
The Garnet swept one through three in the 1,000-yard freestyle led by freshman Hannah Kloetzer's 11:10.26. Swarthmore also swept the 200 IM with Scout Clark capturing first with a personal best time of 2:15.50.
Freshman Hyeyun Chae won the 100 back in 1:00.14.
In the 500 free, Emily Bley swam to first with a time of 5:37.64. And the 100 breaststroke belonged to Maggie Eberts with a time of 1:08.32.
