WESTMINSTER, Md.—Swarthmore College Men's Swimming rolled to a 73-22 victory in the first dual meet of the 2017-18 campaign.
The Garnet took the top spot in six individual events and the two relays: the 200 medley and the 200 freestyle.
Swarthmore's top 200 medley relay team of Jeffrey Tse, Jerry Gu, Alec Menzer and Chris Smith swam to first in 1:37.90, setting a pool record.
Tse also broke pool records in the 100 freestyle with a time of 47.43 and as the lead leg of the 200 free with a time of 21.16.
Menzer topped the 1,000 free in 10:03.59. Fellow freshman Riley McLaughlin won the 200 free in 1:48.05.
Carlo Sivilotti clocked a 22.67 to win the 50 free.
In the 500 free, Riley McLaughlin swam to first in 4:59.82.
Jerry Gu won the 100 breast in 1:01.60 and the Garnet swept 1-2-3 in the event.
Swarthmore returns to action on Saturday at Franklin & Marshall College.
