SWARTHMORE, Pa.—Back in Ware Pool competing for the first time in more than month, Swarthmore College Women's Swimming faced Widener University on Sunday and earned a 170-92 win.
The Garnet won nine of Sunday's events, starting with the 200-yard medley relay. Selina Ye, Liz Staton, Sophie Moody and Sayaka Vaules won with a time of 1:52.77.
Ye also captured two individual wins, taking the 100 backstroke (1:01.13) and the 100 individual medley (1:01.82).
Fellow freshman Clare Cushing left with a pair of wins in the freestyle, winning the 200 (1:58.32) and the 500 (5:18.47).
The Garnet won both breaststroke events. Maggie Eberts finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:11.98, and Liz Staton won the 200 in 2:32.83.
Scout Clark dominated in the 400 IM, winning by nearly six seconds with a time of 4:51.77.
In the 200 backstroke Erica Flor added a win, clocking in at 2:15.08, a season best for her.
The Garnet will be back in action at Cabrini University on Saturday at 11 a.m.
