GALLOWAY, N.J.—Swarthmore College men's track raced at Stockton University's Osprey Open on Saturday. Several events were canceled because of wet conditions.
Ethan Lee claimed first place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:01.73. The Garnet finished with four of the top five spots in the 800-meters.
William Colgan placed second with a 2:02.29 mark,
Jordan Reyes came in fourth at 2:02.97 and
Corey Branch was a second later with a 2:03.97 time.
Stuart Arbuckle came in sixth in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:22.98.
Peter Sayde dashed to seventh in the 100-meters with a time of 11.8 seconds.
Note: Swarthmore sent two runners to compete at Princeton on Friday night.
Spencer Friske ran the 5K in 14:50.87 and
John Gagnon completed the run in 15:14.14. Friske's time was second-best in school history and is the time in the Centennial Conference this year. The 14:50.87 run has him 11th nationally in the 5K.
