RESULTSCHESTER, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Track & Field competed on Friday and Saturday at the Danny Curran Invitational on the campus of Widener University.
Senior
Paul Green posted the top attached time in the 1,500-meter run with a mark of 3:55.62. Teammate
Spencer Friske finished soon after him in sixth with a time of 3:58.32.
Swarthmore registered a 3:24.15 in the 4x400-meter relay to take a second-place finish.
Jordan Reyes and
Stuart Arbuckle, running in separate heats of the 800-meters, crossed the finish line in nearly identical times. Reyes took sixth overall with a mark of 2:01.08 and Arbuckle came in seventh at 2:01.09.
In the field,
Andrew Jansen hurled the discus 38.59m for a fourth-place ranking and also finished seventh in the shot put (12.6m).
Benjamin Hejna jumped his way to second in the triple jump with a 12.89m leap.
Swarthmore will send a selection of runners to the Princeton Distance Night on Friday and then Stockton University's Osprey Invitational on Saturday.
