HAVERFORD, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Cross Country raced against local NCAA Division I and III schools on Friday night in the Main Line Invitational four-mile run on the campus of Haverford College. Garnet junior
Corey Branch led the way with a 20:46 time and came in with the 31st score. Branch's mark was nearly a minute faster than his time on the same course last year.
The Garnet finished seventh overall with a score of 190.
Paul Green finished six seconds behind Branch to give the Garnet 34 points.
John Gagnon was the third Garnet runner to cross the finish line, coming in at 21:08.
Mayank Agrawal finished fourth for the Garnet with a 21:30 time and
Will Sullivan was Swarthmore's fifth score with a 21:35 time.
Swarthmore's next competition is at the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University on Oct. 2.
