RESULTSHAVERFORD, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's track and field team competed at the McElligott Invitational hosted by Haverford College on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Headlining the day, sophomore
Peter Sayde set a new school record in the 60-meter dash. Sayde crossed the line in 7.35 seconds for fifth place overall.Â
The Garnet milers recorded additional notable finishes. Junior
Paul Green's 4:21.66 mark earned him third place overall and first among Centennial Conference finishers. Senior
Erick White followed closely behind with a 4:25.60 pace for seventh, and sophomore
Corey Branch took 10th in 4:29.82.Â
In the field, senior
Colton Aho threw the shot put 40-feet, 10.50-inches for seventh overall out of 25 athletes. Â
Swarthmore will travel to Boston next weekend for the Valentine Invitational on Feb. 13-14.
