COMPLETE RESULTS

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Swarthmore College men's track and field team traveled to the Armory Track & Field Center on Friday, Jan. 16 to open the new year, competing in the New York City Gotham Cup. The non-scoring meet featured student-athletes from all three NCAA Divisions, as well as professional runners.  

On the track, junior Paul Green finished the 3,000-meter run in 8:52.07 for 27th overall, just seconds shy of an ECAC qualifying time.  Also in the 3k, sophomore John Gagnon clocked in at 9:09.33.

In the field, senior Colton Aho recorded a mark of 39-feet, 2.25-inches in the shot put, and freshman teammate Andrew Jansen finished with a 35-10.75 distance in the same event.

The Garnet return to action next weekend on Saturday, January 24 at the Tiger Invitation in Princeton, N.J.
